Beirut crisis and Arabic Welfare support
As a result of the devastating incident in Beirut, Arabic Welfare has allocated dedicated staff to help address the needs of our community. We are offering counselling, information and other support for you and your family.
If you are finding it difficult to cope or just need someone to talk to for information or support, please call Arabic Welfare on 9380 9536 to set up an appointment with one of our bilingual staff. If you are concerned about friends and family in Lebanon, please contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on 1300 555 135.
Arabic Welfare has also partnered with the Australian Lebanese Medical Association (ALMA) to raise funds to provide essential food parcels for those affected by the crisis in Beirut and Lebanon. If you would like to make a donation, please see details on the ALMA site.
